Sometimes I out-clever myself

I sent Peter off to California with my laptop so he had a good working computer for some of the things on his agenda. In doing so, I forgot to transfer a couple of files to e-mail so I can work on them while he is gone. I have to reconstruct my DragonCon paperwork today since I didn’t transfer that and there were a couple of other things that are on that hard drive that I am not going to see for a week.
Peter has a pretty busy schedule out in LA and at San Diego. SDCC has been very good to us in terms of projects that then are executed over the year and new projects started which might take a little longer to come to past but some really good things have come out of this show for us. Peter is going to be many places this year including his first signing with X-Box for Shadow Complex which is based on a book by Orson Scott Card and is part of the X-Box arcade system which I think I understand how it works but I am still a little fuzzy on the details.
The Girls and I have various things we need to do and places we need to go. I need to restock the larder and I need to go look at cloth for a couple of puppets I will be now making. Hard thing is going to be finding the wigs I need but I think Party City will have what I need for one of them and possibly two. The third is going to be the challenge. If not, I think I know some stores online that have for the size I need.
Also I need to be realistic about what I can get done in less than 40 days since part of the time will be taken up with travel to the convention and another part getting Ariel ready to go to College.
Now I have to see of I can remember my passwords off the top of my head rather than off my cheat-sheet since that is my computer currently flying to California.
I am grateful that Peter’s flight took off pretty much on time.
