Green is My Grass

Posted By on April 23, 2009

We have had rain and cloudy skies for the past couple of days. Before all this rain, my lawn still had the winter look with patches of green and looked pretty pitiful. This morning there is much more green lawn and now only a bare patch or so. Soon it will be time to mow it again but first we have to pick up sticks since we have a lot of sticks all over the lawn from the winter. Caroline likes to do that and if there is light after the Girl Scout field trip today, we might spend some time outside getting rid of the dead wood.

Here are the final Dotee Dolls for my swap. Now I just need to get them shipped out.

I made the charms at the end of the beads. The rules said no clay faces so I stamped the faces on fabric. They are trying to keep the cost of postage down.

Next Zetti ATC doll (Artist trading card) for another swap.

I am trying to stretch my art outside my comfort zone and try new things.

I am grateful for getting projects done in a timely fashion.

Kathleen, these look great! Can you tell me the history/origins of them – I’ve never seen anything like them before…
