Happy Birthday Shana!!!!
Posted By Kathleen David on April 18, 2009
My eldest stepdaughter turned 28 today. She shared this birthday with Keith DeCanido who turned 40 today.
I first met Shana when she was about 10. It was the first time I met Peter too. I taught her and Peter how to operate a hand and rod puppet at an Atlanta Fantasy Fair.
She has a beautiful singing voice and a quirky sense of humor. My favorite original song of hers is entitled “Peanut butter and Jelly” which is a love song strangely enough kind of sort of.
Her life changed a lot in the last year. She got married last year to a wonderful guy named Tim (insert your Monty Python joke here). They moved from Florida to an undisclosed location (only because she asked me to. Witness protection and all…I kid. I kid because I love).
So Happy Birthday Shana! I hope you had a grand day. Just FYI, Ariel has been trying to call you and your voice mail insists you don’t exist so please call her. Thanks.
No Python jokes re: Tim, please — it’s a lovely name, in my completely unbiased opinion. 🙂
I didn’t know that Keith D’s birthday was yesterday — that means he is precisely one day older than my wife.
And happy birthday to Shana!

My onliest step daughter will be turning … ummm … twenty-five in about two weeks.
Kate and i have two lovely grand daughters, one three and one one (both with January birthdays about a week apart, i told Helen she missed…)
Having grand kids without having to put up with kids of your own till they’re eighteen or so is wonderful…
some of the coolest people have been born on this day! not only shana and keith but also conan obrien, jane leeves and david tennant!
some of us are only lucky enough to share ours with jay leno;)
