Snow Gone

Posted By on March 9, 2009

We have had rain the last couple of days and between that and the lovely temperatures, the snow is gone with the exception of some of the large piles that are now small piles of ugly snow.

It was another lovely day. Peter took Caroline down to the playground and she ran around like a nut until the rain started to fall.

Ariel had more of an adventure than she wanted when her bus broke down in Pennsylvania and she arrived at home past midnight. If things were to go as planned, she would have been home around 10.

Now we get back on a schedule until April. The kids are in school. We do have things to do on the weekends, but the rest should be as normal. Of course the moment I say that something will come up to up-end things again.

I have some other things rolling around in my head but I think I am a little gun-shy about posting anything after the last couple of weeks. Which makes me a little sad since I think I have said some rather interesting things about fandom and the entertainment industry as a whole. I think people are still reading this on the RSS feed if they can find it. I guess I am feeling a little insecure which is not that unusual for me.

I am grateful that Caroline got up in time (barely) to be ready for school on time.

Now we have some snow falling here in the great northwest. Very unusual. I won’t be going anywhere today and after school activities have been canceled. It would have been the first day of the schools musical for my daughter.

You need to bug Glenn about getting you recent posts back up on your husbands site. It was always nice to glance over and see if you’d written anything new. I read all the time (well, maybe not the sports posts) but rarely comment. So your messages may be getting out to more people than you think. We just don’t let you know often enough. I very much enjoy reading your blog.

I’m grateful to have a computer to read interesting and helpful things!
