Girls’ Night Out

Posted By on April 25, 2007

Last night I went into the city and joined a group of women that I had met through a group we all belong too. One of the members of the group had come back to the East Coast for a visit and wanted to get together with as many of the group as could be wrangled. Through luck of the draw, we ended up a party of seven and all women. We went to Carmine’s on 44th and had a good meal with good friends. The subject material did what is usually does with this group and ran the gambit from Anime to Zebras. I really enjoyed myself. It was nice to get together with another group that spoke my language. Afterwards I went on the train with the guest of honor and we continued to have those sorts of conversations that friends have. Kept us both amused until we got to our train station. Peter and Caroline (who had fallen sleep at 5pm and woke up at 9pm) greeted me. I went home full of good food and the warm feeling of friendship.

I am grateful for my time with my friends yesterday.
