Creative Weekend

Posted By on April 2, 2007

I plan on downloading the pictures from this weekend onto my computer later today. I did get quite a few. Most of the ones I will have up to begin with are my doll and Toby and Wendy’s since I have permission for those. I will post others once I get the permission of the artists to put them up.

The weekend went fast! But it was so worth it. I finally named my doll Fairy Grandmother. You’ll understand when you see it. I may start working on the next one today since I am pumped from all that I learned. Wendy is such a good teacher and she shows infinite patience with her students. She is always willing to answer a question or demonstrate how to do something.

The next couple of days are going to be catch-up days from the past couple of weeks. I have been going full bore since the beginning of March and I need to slow down a bit and re-assess what and when I need to do some things. First up is the next doll in the pieces swap so I can send it onto the next doll maker. Then my artist doll needs to be done by the 27th of April. I know what I am going to do and I have all the materials I need so it is a matter of making it and getting it off to its next stop.

In the realm of writing, I have two things due about the same time. I have one of them outlined and other one is still rolling around in my brain. I need to sit down and get both of them done. I have a third that I want to work on but the first two are my priorities.

And going to the way back machine, I am going to be getting in touch with those people who expressed an interest in my original puppets. I haven’t forgotten, just haven’t had the time to breath and reply to anyone.

On another note, Karen, I found your check that I thought I had deposited last night. Sorry. I’ll try to get that done today or tomorrow.

I am grateful that the creativity is still flowing.

I had wondered. It still hadn’t shown up as being cashed. I was going to ask about it again, but didn’t want to bug you. My nephew seems to feel I get a little stalkerish when it comes to money. Only a little OCD. Really. 🙂
