For some reason I have the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated jingle stuck in my head. And it isn’t very long and it is looping. But I have the variations as well so at least it is not the same song.
Caroline has to write an essay about faith for her religious class. She has been writing about her father’s stroke and her faith. I promised to type it up for her. I have a feeling there are going to be some tears in my eyes considering what I have read so far.
World Baseball is turning out to be more interesting than I thought I would find it. There have been some good games and some really good games with a couple of blowouts in between.
Peter is continuing to improve. It is slower that when he was at the rehab but the evidence of improvement continues. They ran him through a battery of tests since he has been in out patient rehab for about a month now. His balance is much better. His hand is showing signed of strengthening and more dexterity. Nothing is back to normal yet but we still continue to move that direction.
This past weekend was a lot of driving. The next weekend is going to be a lot of driving but it is necessary. I am quite proud that I drove in New York City without a total panic attack. Not my favorite place to drive.
We are working on Caroline’s science project. We have both learned more about cat behavior and instinct verse training than I think either of us wanted to know. I do know a lot more about what to look for with the old cats and their health and behavior. Still haven’t gotten Fig to jump rope.
I am grateful for the tricks that Fig has learned.
