OK you have to understand that this episode is the beginning of the set up for the rest of the season and since I have seen the whole season I can forgive a lot. Rose and Mickey have a lot to deal with emotionally this time around. The Doctor seems confused until all the pieces come together and then he realizes the danger that he is facing. Most of the rest of my comments would be (barely) considered spoilers but I like to err on the side of caution.
I am grateful that Caroline knows her Doctor Who villians.
Isn’t it funny that the Doctor kept calling Mickey Rickey and now there is a Rickey?
Yeah this is a re-invent on the origin of the Cybermen but I really don’t have a problem with it. I don’t have a problem with the multi-dimensional aspect of the episode. It is a nice way of getting Pete back into the mix and letting Rose see what might have happened if her father had lived with the big difference of her not being in the mix. I laughed when she realized that they named the dog Rose (but then I was having an Indiana Jones flashback).
I like the redesign of the Cyber suit. They amped up the scary with using human brains to run the suits with a limiter so that the brain doesn’t know what has happened to it. Good episode to show around Halloween.
Now I can say that this episode put Ariel off from ever using a Bluetooth headset.
I really can’t say much more except hang on because this roller coaster is just starting.
